School journey - Wednesday

Dear all

It has been another eventful day for us.  Both Group A and Group B found out what their tasks would be for the day.  Group A were treated to a ride on the pedal go-karts and then a lovely sensory trail.  On the pedal go-karts Trenyce was zooming all around the track and Cian and Nathan were winning loads of races.  On the sensory trail Group A were blindfolded and had to rely on their other senses to complete the tasks ahead.  The whole group was really scared at first but then they communicated and we're able to walk to the next activity blindfolded.  Yeun-Yi and Kenneth were building their teamwork skills and tactics when they were blindfolded.  Group B were lucky enough to have a high risk aerial trek and improve their shooting skills at the archery.  Reece and madeline both completed the aerial obstacle course without any fear.  Tess was really good at the archery,  she tried really hard and perservered and she finally managed to hit the target easily.  Josh and Andrew were experts and hit the yellow bullets several times.

Both groups went on a 3 hour long hike through the forest which we were able to play several group games.  We were really tired by the end of it. During the evening we went to a campfire. For some of us it was the first time we went to a proper campfire.  We sang songs,  in which we were treated to our favourite "I have the ball" there was lots of dancing and even Mr Vis,  Mr Rawlings and Mrs Meek all got involved.  We played charades which everyone was really good at. We're all really sad this will be our last night here but we have had lots of fun and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Miss Birkett,  Miss Bahra,  Mr Luequee and all the children.  Miss you loads and we will see you tomorrow.  Xx
